5/30/19 - This is an original Luftwaffe (1st variation) wrist compass. The compass is marked on the back with a maker marking and is dated 1939. The leather wrist straps are in excellent condition. The compass appears to have lost a small amount of liquid as the "bubble" is slightly larger than it should be, but it is completely in tact and not "leaky". Overall a beautiful piece of history.
