SOLD - Nazi SS Dagger - WW2 Original

6/2/18 - This is an original WW2 era production nazi SS dagger made by Robert Klaas. The dagger comes with an original scabbard. The scabbard has original paint and finish, and the only flaw is a small dent on one side. The blade is in great shape with no signs of sharpening or alteration. The blade edge does have a few light knicks in it (most likely from the GI who captured it having "played with" his new toy). There is some light, and normal patina on either side of the blade from aging. There's also some surface scratching on the blade from sheathing/unsheathing. The inscription is crisp and has some normal edge wear. There is a "P" stamped on the metal hand guard. The wood handle is excellent and original with no cracks or chips. There are a few light surface scratches on the wood though (very minor indents). Overall guaraneted original with some honest wear. A very cool piece of real history!
