5/10/21 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe boot knife. The blade is proof eagle stamped with a Luftwaffe eagle/5 proof. There is some mild surface patina and surface scratching along with mild stains in a few small areas. No major rust or pitting however, nor any signs of sharpening. The wood handle is excellent with no cracks or chips. The scabbard has no dents but there is finish loss throughout.
