3/30/20 - This is an original Mauser K98 bayonet with an original scabbard and leather frog. The bayonet blade is excellent with very nice, strong all original bluing. The blade is numbered 7530d, and the reverse is maker stamped "43ddt" (could be "aat"?). The handle is excellent as well, b ut the metal pommel does have some finish loss and speckling patina throughout. The scabbard has no dents and very nice bluing - there is some patina / aging throughout though. Scabbard is numbered "6763". The leather frog is nice, with excellent stitching, and is maker stamped as well as dated on the back leather from 1944.
