7/14/23 - This is rare and very desirable early Nazi Walther P.38 with its original matching magazine and grips. It's a second variation zero series, one of only ~1,500 produced. The 2nd variation still had the rectangular firing pin but the slide was cut for the extractor. This particular example has an excellent profile with minor high edge thinning, but most of the bluing loss is on the front strap. Excellent bore and good mechanics. Both the grips and magazine are original and matching to the pistol. Grips show minor handling wear but no major defects. NOTE: THERE IS A HAIRLINE CRACK IN THE SLIDE. This would otherwise be a $6500-$7500 pistol.
