12/21/22 - This is an excellent example of a rare Spreewerk P.38, manufactured at the end of the war in 1945. This one is especially rare because it has a rare "ac 44" fn-made slide. The gun is all matching, but the waffen proofs have been peened. This is evidence the gun may have been reworked by the East German police after WW2. It has retained about 97% of its finish. Minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Minor oxidation on the front strap. There are a few small areas of tiny pin-pricking here and there. Comes with nice grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
