11/1/23 - This is an excellent example of a rare Zero Series Spreewerk manufactured at the very end of the war in 1945. These Zero Series guns have a "0" prefix in their serial numbers and were some of the last P.38's made at the end of WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper Eagle test proof and "U" proof on the right side of the slide. The finish is fairly dark, so believe this gun has been "Russian dipped". It has retained about 99% of its finish with a series of tiny marks and scratches on the right side of the slide. Tiny pin-pricking on the front strap. Comes with a nice pair of grips that have been Russian cut. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional. NOTE: The magazine in the photos was swapped. The magazine offered with this listing is in excellent condition, and marked' WaA706' and 'jvd' on the spine.
