2/20/19 - This is a rare Verchromt Walther PPK in very good original condition that retains about 90+% of its original finish. Very few PPKs were finished in “verchromt”, which was Walther’s experiment in producing a variation of the plated finish - essentially a type of electrolysis plating that gave the gun a dull gray appearance. Unfortunately, it proved to be less durable than the standard blue finish and very few such guns were made in the early 30s. There is some patina on the front strap, and a few spots of finish loss on both sides of the slide. Comes with an excellent Verchromt magazine. Excellent bore. Beautiful grip with no major cracks or chips.
