5/7/19 - This is a very rare Sauer model 1926 export - only the second we have ever offered! There were only 3,000-4,000 of this variation produced, and not a lot is known about them. This one has the telltale characteristics that separate it from the 1919 model and the 1929/30. The serrations on the cocking knob continue to the slide, and the trigger guard is the (correct) later oval shape. This one is all original and correct with about 95% high-polish blue remaining. The wear is evenly distributed on either side of the slide, near the muzzle, with another area of finish loss on the front strap. Excellent grips and proper magazine. Bore shows some use and minor frost but overall in good condition with nice rifling.
