6/18/20 - This is a rare Party Leader Walther PPK with black grip, in excellent condition. We observe far less of the black grips than the brown, but research on the black grips is also less extensive and there is some debate over whether they were ever made by the Walther factory. This particular example has a duraluminum frame, and was made in 1944. The finish rates at 96-97% with a minty profile but a bit of thinning of the front strap. The grip has the proper metal insert and no cracks or defects. Just a little bit of warping to the upper corners. Mint bore.
