1/10/25 - For sale is a rare 1 of roughly 1000 Pre-Series 70 Colt Government pistols made at the very end of the manufacturing run in 1970. These pistols are marked "BB" to test the new barrel and collet bushing assembly that would go into the Series 70 of pistols. This pistol is in fantastic condition and has very minimal edge wear at the muzzle. The rest of the slide has a fantastic polished blue finish and the frame has a semi polish and matte finish. The grips are excellent and free of any crack or breaks. The bore is bright with great rifling. The pistol comes with its original matching box and a Series 70 manual.
