6/9/21 - This is a nice example of a French Mauser HSC made immediately after WW2. It is all matching, has the proper French proof on the trigger guard, and has a lanyard ring. The lanyard could be an indication that this gun was issued to the police force - no way to tell for sure. It has retained roughly 85% of its bluing. Most of the wear is on the straps, but there is also minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Light spotty oxidation here and there. Comes with slightly worn wood grips and an un-marked magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
