11/20/17 - This is a police Mauser HSc from 1944 with 97-98% original blue remaining. The majority of finish loss is on the muzzle and high edges, with some brown coming through on the straps. The slide is mismatched to the gun by one digit - 892 vs 893. This is certainly a late war factory error. Grips show some dings and age. Half-moon magazine. Strong bore.
