1/31/23 - This is a Nighthawk Custom 1911 TRS Commander model in mint condition. Our consignor bought each of the set of Nighthawks being listed in new condition and never fired any of them, so only very minor handling wear if any wear at all. Each of the Nighthawks being offered are priced considerably under MSRP, and this one had an MSRP of $4519. This one features the black nitride finish with TiN coated barrel. Comes with the original carry case which has a spare mag, manual, etc. From the Nighthawk website: "The TRS Commander is the first Commander-sized Nighthawk Custom model built on a double stack frame. A match grade 4.25” stainless barrel is housed in a commander frame and monolithic slide. The full-length dust cover provides added weight to the front of the pistol, helping reduce muzzle flip when firing.
A tritium front sight allows the shooter to quickly acquire the target while the Heinie Ledge Black rear sight features serrations on the back, reducing glare. The TRS Commander comes with unique dimpling on the front and back of the slide, matching the pattern of the grip. These dimples provide a non-abrasive surface that will not hang or snag on clothing when holstering.
The TRS Commander comes standard with a black nitride finish. A solid lightweight aluminum trigger features a serrated flat face to provide a positive surface when pulling the trigger.
