06/07/2024 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 Mauser made by DWM in 1915. This rifle is in an overall 90% condition. The receiver and bolt have some freckling and patina. The barrel still retains a nice bluing. The rifle is nearly matching throughout down to the action screws but the cocking piece is unnumbered and the cleaning rod is mismatched. The stock has been sanded and "C. Moore METS" was etched into the left side. The bore is fairly bright with great rifling but it has been counter-bored for about 1.5 inches from the muzzle.
