08/30/2024 - For sale is a German Mauser Model 1871 made by the Amberg arsenal in 1877. This rifle had not been updated to the 71/84 spec with the tube magazine. The rifle is in nice condition overall. The metal has a nice patina finish and many parts are browning with age and oxidation. The stock is in good condition but there are pressure marks and handling marks throughout. The stock has been sanded and the proof stamps are hard to see. The rifle has matching serial numbers on all the metal parts but cannot find a number on the stock. The bore is fairly bright and the rifling is in good condition.
