3/12/19 - This is a Luftwaffe contract Walther PP from ~1941. These are distinct in that they are in that they are waffen proofed on the slide and frame, feature high-polish blue and their magazines are numbered on the base plate. They were issued with two numbered magazines, but this one only comes with one numbered magazine "226662" (correct production range, but not matching). The magazine is original but fits tight within the magazine well. The original finish covers about 90-93% of the gun with most of the wear found on the left side of the slide and bottom of the back strap. The gun has matching frame and slide with eagle/N proofs on the slide, barrel and ejection port. Mechanically it is in good condition and has an excellent, shiny bore.
