11/27/18 - This is a very cool Nazi MG 34 with extremely hard to find original anti-aircraft turret mount. The gun was actually made to fit on the front rotating swivel of a Panzer Tank. However, as needed it could be use on an armored vehicle or a mount such as the one provided with the gun and photoed. This gun is an original MG 34 receiver and parts that have been decommissioned. The metal parts appear to all be original from the Nazi era with original finish, but some numbered parts are mismatched. My understanding is that this could be used for parts and re-commissioned into semi-auto to increase the value by a good amount. The receiver is 'dot' marked and 1942 dated. The butt stock does have a minor crack in it. The gun features the scarce swivel attachment that locks it into place on the turret of a tank or other armored vehicle. The stand is in good condition with complete maneuverability, making it an especially cool display piece. The reiterate, this is a NON-working, decommissioned gun. To be used as a display piece or a project for someone who knows how to convert to semi auto. The receiver is cut and welded so would be to be replaced to be functional.
