11/20/20 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs. Fully functional including the de-cocker. It has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. This mid-war military finish is a little difficult to rate. But there is thinning on the front strap and on the barrel. Wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. There is also some wear on the top plate. Comes with excellent grips and one period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. There is just some spotty freckling throughout.
