6/12/17 - This is a M1935A manufactured by SACM (Societe Alsacienne Construction Mecanique) in Cholet, France. It is Nazi-marked E/WaA251 on the left side of the slide, making this the more common 2nd variation model of these pistols. Overall, they remain fairly scarce for German Army pistols of that time, with only about ~24,000 produced. The serial dates this one to the late end of the range, likely produced somewhere around 1943/44. The original finish is about 95%, with the majority of the wear found on the back strap. The name 'Ed' has also been scratched into the frame on the right side of the pistol. All original and correct with a strong bore.
