10/10/19 - This is a very nice example of a WW2 Nazi Army Walther PPK, made in about 1943. This is a fourth variation PPK. Check out our Youtube video on this subject to learn more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKfbrlP0bqE&t=14s. It is chambered for 7.65mm. The frame and slide have the proper "Eagle 359" waffen proofs. The barrel and frame are also "Eagle N" proofed. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. We rate the bluing around 90%. These wartime guns are notoriously difficult to grade. They are characterized by duller finishes and machine marks, as is true for this piece. There are visible machine marks throughout, which we would not characterize as "wear". There is minor thinning in the finish throughout, especially on the front strap. There is also some minor freckling on the slide. The brown grip is original and excellent - it is characterized by excellent black and brown color marbling. There is, however, one very thin hairline crack on the right side, adjacent to the Walther banner. The gun also comes with a correct wartime Walther magazine. The bore is beautiful - shiny with strong rifling. The gun is fully functional. All serial numbers are matching. No import marks. C&R eligible.
