10/22/21 - This is an all matching and original Nazi K98 rifle from 1941. It's 'ce' marked on the receiver, indicating it was made at J.P. Sauer & Sohn Suhl, one of the more desired manufacturers. The finish is original throughout but thinning all over. Conversely, the stock is in great shape with minor handling wear and the bore is minty, so it was either shot minimally or very well cared for. Matching numbers throughout include the stock, receiver, barrel, bolt assembly, magazine floorplate, bands, buttplate and rear sight.
