SOLD - Navy Mauser Luger - 1940

6/7/17 - This is a rare 1940 Mauser Luger, with Navy property mark on the back strap (Nordsee).  The original finish rates at about 94-95%, with some thinning on the barrel and wear on the sideplate.  There were only 6,000 Navy lugers of this variation procured, all from 1936-1940.  All numbered small parts are matching, as well as the grips.  The magazine is period correct but not matching to the pistol.  The bore has strong rifling and is in very good condition overall, with no pitting.
