2/14/20 - This is a near-mint Walther P.38 from March of 1945. The original finish rates at 98-99% with minor muzzle wear and a bit of patina on the front strap. The pistol has all matching numbers, and is a late example with only two of the inspection stamps on the right side of the slide. It also has a nice mix of phosphate and blue parts, which create a nice "dual-tone" quality to the pistol. Nice brown grips and a minty bore. Proper mechanics, including de-cocker. Scarce, late magazine with ribbed follower. Listing also includes a nice softshell holster that is 1944 dated and has a sharp waffenamt.
