11/29/17 - This is a mint ac 45 Walther P.38 from the very end of the war. It is a late-war mismatch, a known variation, where guns in the c block or later were put together from parts as the Germans scrambled to get guns produced and out of the factory. The frame, slide and barrel are all mismatched, and the right side slide shows only two acceptance proofs. The gun has late features like the cog hammer and phosphate small parts. Excellent reddish Walther grips. Mint bore. Walther magazine. Pistol comes with a 1944 dated softshell holster in excellent condition.
