8/13/19 - This is a minty and all original M1921 Mauser "Bolo", manufactured some time in the 1920s. The Treaty of Versailles, signed in 1919, imposed restrictions on pistol barrel lengths and calibers on German arms manufacturers. Mauser began manufacturing a compliant version of the C96 for commercial sale with shorter, 3.9 inch barrel. Serial dates this pistol to 1923-30. The pistol is all matching, including the grips. The original blue rates at about 99% with only minor high edge wear on the rails. Minty bore. Very nice fire blue is still present on small parts.
