5/7/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser M1914 issued to the Imperial German Army in 1916. This gun is being sold on consignment. The consignor put together a very cool assembly to accompany the gun that includes a labeled hard case, a repro Imperial flag, Imperial German Army "Gott Mit Uns" belt buckle, and an Imperial WW1 Honour Cross. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial proof on the top of the slide. The gun has retained about 90% of its original bluing. There is holster wear on the front edges of the slide, a small spot of discoloration on the left side of the frame, and wear/patina on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard. Comes with an excellent wood grip and a proper magazine. The bore has good rifling with freckling throughout.
