12/11/18 - This is an original WW2 era leather strap for a K98 rifle. The strap has no markings or stamps on the leather, but the back of the keeper clasp is stamped with an "R". The metal clasp is maker stamped "L&F" The leather is soft and completely in tact with no notable flaws and the herring bone "checkering" is still visible. The stitching is all original as well without issues. Guaranteed original.
