6/7/17 - This is an affordable K date luger. These are quite rare and were the first of the Military lugers made in the Mauser factory - from 1934. Only about 10,000 were made in the first year of production. Most are very worn - this one more so than most. However, it is an all matching and correct gun. I wont even guess at the % of finish as the gun is almost entirely patina brown. Also, the straw on the safety lever is almost all patina brown as well. Note - it is NOT blued, just aged. Everything matches on the gun except the magazine. The magazine is a G date mag from 1935. Matching parts include the grips, the hold open, rear toggle pin and firing pin. The bore is about the same condition as the gun, which means it is worn but not pitted or corroded.
