7/2/21 - This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is mostly matching, but has a mismatched cocking knob. There is much actual finish loss, but there is brown patina under the finish throughout, some handling marks here and there, and some tiny dots of oxidation on the receiver. The stock is very nice with some minor dings and scratches here and there. It is smooth and has been sanded. The bore is near-mint.
