9/18/23 - This is a matching and original example of a Standard Small Arms Sht LE rifle from 1918 that was part of the Canada contract order. Matching numbered stock, receiver and bolt handle. The stock disc indicates this was issued to the 48th Highlanders, and the stock/receiver show the arrow in circle marking. The metal finish is original and shows a gneeral patina throughout, with minor edge wear in most areas. The bore has decent rifling but some frost and freckling throughout. The stock has your standard dings and nicks but no chips or cracks.
