5/12/23 - This is a rare "W-suffix" Walther PPK manufactured in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. There's very limited knowledge on this variation of PPK, so we aren't sure the significance. Definitely an interesting wartime commercial production piece. It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish with obvious wear along both sides of the slide. There is also noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. Fitted with a brown Walther grip - some minor warping on the top edges and a crack in the spine. Comes with a finger extension magazine that has a chip in the front of the bakelite bottom. The bore has good rifling with light frosting in the grooves.
