11/7/22 - This is a very nice example of an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. The entire gun has been refinished and has retained about 98% of its new bluing. There are just a few small handling marks on the right side of the slide and some areas of very minor pin-pricking under the bluing here and there. Comes with waffen-proofed Walther grips that are numbered but do not appear to be matching. Hairline crack on the left side. Also comes with a refinished "ac" marked Walther magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
