3/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1917. There were only 15,000 of these 1914 variation Lugers produced in 1917. This one is almost entirely matching except for the extractor. It has the proper "Crown M" navy proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, side plate, and high edges of the frame. There are a few small dots of wear on the barrel and chamber. There are tiny dots of oxidation here and there most noticeable on the straps. Very nice grips - one small chip in the left panel. Comes with a mismatched non-navy magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is freckling throughout.
