11/10/22 - This is a very nice example of an early Colt Officers Model, manufactured in 1910. 7.5" barrel and chambered in .38 Caliber. The gun is all matching and has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. Beautiful fire bluing on the trigger. There isn't a ton of actual finish loss, but there is scratchy wear along the barrel, wear around the high edges in general, and minor pin-pricking and brown patina on both sides of the frame. Dulling and light brown patina on the grip straps. Minor spotty wear and a light roll mark on the cylinder. Comes with really nice hand-checkered Walnut grips that are hand-numbered on the inside to match. Very nice bore with strong rifling and some very minor pin-pricking here and there. Cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
