10/2/24 - This is a very nice example of an MAB Model D made in France under German occupation during WW2. Issued to the German military as evidenced by the "Waffen 251" military acceptance proof on the right side of the frame. All matching. This particular example has a really nice and desirable plum-colored finish throughout. The finish on the grip safety is a more typical blue color, giving this gun a really nice two-tone appearance. There is minor muzzle wear, spotty oxidation along the left side of the slide, and minor pin-pricking on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one proper magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling.
