9/1/21 - This is a very nice example of an Astra 600 that was ordered by the Nazi military in 1943. It was never actually delivered and has no Nazi proofs, often referred to as the "second contract". It is all matching and has the proper Spanish proofs. This one also has an "LBPN" marking on the front strap, indicating it was then issued to the West German police force after WW2. It comes with a nice 1944-dated holster, one un-numbered magazine, and one matching magazine, numbered at the police arsenal. The gun has excellent wood grips and has retained about 95% of its finish. Most of the wear is splotchy on the right side of the gun. There is also very minor wear along the high edges and an area of wear on the front strap. Spotty oxidation here and there and freckling on the straps. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
