6/29/21 - This is a nice example of a Nambu Type 14 rig issued to the Japanese military in September of 1943. The gun is all matching and comes with a nice holster, one matching magazine, one mismatched early nickel-tubed magazine, and one small tool. We believe the holster is period-correct but has been dyed black, and most of the metal fittings have been nickel-plated. The gun has retained about 65% of its finish. There is significant thinning and light brown patina throughout. A series of small dings on the barrel. Some areas look like they may have been touched up with cold blue - can't say for sure. Comes with excellent matching grips - looks like there was a thin layer of lacquer applied. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling and very minor freckling here and there.
