7/1/21 - This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1918. It was then reworked and issued to the German police force. It is all matching, has Imperial proofs, has Erfurt proofs, an added police sear safety, and two police unit markings on the front strap (one of which was crossed out). It has retained about 96% of its finish. There is minor wear on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, and base of the front strap. Very tiny pin-pricking on both straps. Comes with excellent grips that do not match the gun and a mismatched magazine. The magazine tube was blued at some point. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.
