11/29/17 - This is an interesting FN Browning Model 1922, with the A-prefix S/N. This was assembled shortly after Belgium was liberated, using left-over parts. The frame, slide and barrel have Belgian proofs, and no German proofs are present. Note that the trigger is the older style, and the frame has a lanyard ring. My guess is that this was for a French contract. It has a rough parkerized finish similar to French Navy FN 1922's which may be a clue... or maybe not.   Overall condition is at least 98% (or better), with a couple of small scratches on the nose cap, some very light edge-wear at the muzzle and rear of slide. The bore is excellent and shiny. The internals, including barrel exterior, show very little wear; the slide rails and contacts are almost pristine. The magazine is blued and in very nice condition as well, and marked "-FN- 7.65mm" on the side.   The grips are black plastic and in excellent condition. Note that the screw inserts appear to be parkerized, and the grip screw also looks parkerized.
