3/16/23 - This is an exquisite K43 sniper rifle, marked ‘ac 45' on the receiver, denoting it was made at the Walther factory in 1945. All numbered parts are matching, including the stock. Terrific finish on metal parts with only patina on the rear of the receiver. Receiver, bolt cover, barrel and barrel band all have excellent original finish. The rifle is all original and correct, with multiple proper waffen proofs on the stock, receiver and scope mount. Rifle has proper cleaning rod and site hood present. Very nice sling with L&F maker mark. Original magazine is K43 marked with maker ‘aye’ and WaA892 markings on left side, but does appear reblued. The mount has E/214 proof. Scope is WW2 original, with crystal clear optics. Marked K43, then ddx. The stock is in terrific condition and looks great, but does have a minor chip on the left side. It is clearly serialized to the gun and has two clear waffenamts. The bore is excellent and shiny.
