4/9/22 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PP order by and delivered to the Danish Police in 1940. In 1940, the the Danish Rigspolitiet purchased approx. 1,200 Walther PP pistols in the 182000p - 201000p serial number range with factory-installed lanyard rings. After they were received, they were engraved at the Danish Armory In Copenhagen with "RPLT" and a Inventory number. After being in police service for a number of years, it was common for them to have been refinished and given a dual-tone look. This one has a blued slide and a satin-chrome finish. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle N" proofs, and has retained about 95% of its finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some spotty wear on the right side of the slide and a few very small areas of minor oxidation. Comes with excellent grips. It also comes with a finger extension magazine and satin nickel tube. The bore is near-mint.
