10/16/20 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. This one has a beautiful, plumb-colored frame and has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, minor wear on the high edges of the slide, spotty wear on the right side of the slide, and thinning on the front strap. There is some spotty oxidation most noticeable on the front strap and front end of the left side of the slide. It comes with excellent black grips and one period-correct magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. Fully functional, including the de-cocker.
