09/03/2024 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in November of 1942. The rifle is in great condition and had been rebuilt sometime around 1951. The metal has some minor scratches and minor oxidation spots but retains a nice parkerized finish. The stock is a Red River Army Depot replacement and is in great condition with a nice pattern. The bore is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion reads a 5, and the throat erosion is 4. The barrel is marked October of 1951. The rifle comes with a letter from the Department of the Army detailing the sale to the prior owner. Comes with the original transit case and a spare sling.
