9/3/24 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in January of 1944. The interesting thing about this particular gun is that it has a Walther barrel. This could have been part of a military contract or replaced later - hard to say since this is a late war example. It has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 97% of its bluing. There is minor thinning on the front strap, a scratch from the safety lever, and some very light surface scratching on the right side of the slide. It has excellent grips and comes with a period-correct magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. Fully functional including the de-cocker.
