6/9/21 - This is an excellent example of a Sauer 38h that was issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper police "Eagle C" proof on the trigger guard. It has retained about 97% of its original high polish finish. Minor wear around the muzzle and a few small dots on the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are areas of oxidation and significant pitting here and there, most noticeable around the muzzle and back strap. Comes with nice grips and a period-correct magazine. Crack in the right grip panel. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling and just a hint of freckling in some of the grooves.
