11/6/20 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The rig comes with an excellent 1944-dated holster and two period-correct magazines. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 97% of its original bluing. There is very minor wear around the muzzle, on the front edges of the slide, and on the top of the barrel through the ejection port. Very minor thinning on the front strap. Some minor spotty oxidation on the barrel. The gun is fully functional, including the de-cocker. The grips are excellent. The bore has very good rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking throughout. The inside of the holster is black - may have been dyed at some point.
