8/26/20 - This is an excellent example of an original WW2 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The slide has the "AC" Walther factory code and proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. The gun is all matching and fully functional, including the de-cocker. It has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is general thinning on the barrel, a small area of discoloration on the barrel, and thinning on the front strap. There is also minor muzzle wear and some patina showing through on the barrel. Excellent Walther grips. It comes with a period-correct, wartime Walther magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting throughout.
