10/1/2024 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand that was sent over to England as a Lend-Lease aid in 1942. The rifle has British proof stamps on the barrel. The rifle is parts correct and has the correct drawing numbers that would have come from the factory. The metal has spots of oxidation but has a nice parkerized finish. Most of the finish loss is on the gas cylinder. The stock is in great condition with the only blemish being a small crack on the handguard in front of the receiver. The bore is bright with great rifling. The muzzle erosion rates a 1, and the throat erosion is less than 1. The parts list is included below.
