3/4/21 - This is an excellent example of a dual-tone Mauser P.38 with a seldom seen greenish colored phosphate. This pistol was issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It gets the dual-tone appearance from a blued barrel and a phosphate frame and slide. This one is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Minor wear on the barrel through the ejection port. One spotty area of wear on the left side of the slide. Excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Stone-mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
